Dear Family. I am an older lady that has always been a go getter. I used to be a baby sitter at a crèche when I was a lot younger and I feel that out of all the different things that I have done that I really miss working with children and people of all ages. I have been been working as an Au Pair with a lovely family for the last 7 years. Unfortunately the couple has been retrenched and due to that I am now looking for a new family to assist with any Au Pair duties. I am a people's person and find great enjoyment out of it. I have raised a daughter myself and don't mind thinking out of the box when it comes to raising children.

Why I would make the perfect au pair

I have a great love working with all ages from babies to the elderly and looking after their wants and needs. I have a daughter (age 28) and think that I have experience in raising children and assisting with after school activities such as sport. For the younger ones, I like getting my hands dirty and playing in the sand with them. I also think that its important to stimulate them by doing different fun activities such as painting, drawing and playing games. I also have a lot of patience and I'm a hard worker. Sanet is an amazing human-being. She is really caring and loving. In the 6.5 years she worked for us, she always put our kids first. Always taking care of the kids as if they were her own. In all this time, she was never late nor did she miss a single day of work. She was always willing to help out when we needed her even if the timing was unexpected. She spent hours next to the sport fields - being the kids' biggest supporter and then made sure everything for school was sorted. She is also very in tune with each of the kids and how things are going with them. She very regularly gave me feedback on how things are going and if there are things I need attend to - emotionally and practically. She has unlimited patience, and even after all these years, she plays games with the kids. She also stimulated a love for art and music in my kids - I am frequently surprised by the creative projects they complete! She is extremely trustworthy - we even gave her a bank card for one of our accounts to purchase things for the kids. Sanet is by far the best au pair we have ever had - if it wasn't for the change in our circumstances, I would never even consider letting her go.
