Introduction to families
Hi prospective family, my name is Thobile, and I am so excited about the possibility of becoming a part of your family’s day-to-day life. I am a kind, patient, and creative person who genuinely loves working with children and creating a positive environment where they can feel safe, heard, and encouraged. I believe in gentle guidance, structured fun, and being someone both you and your little ones can rely on. I am looking forward to supporting your family while bringing lots of energy, warmth, and care into your home!
I would make the perfect au pair because I love working with children. I am naturally nurturing, reliable, and adaptable and those are the three qualities that are essential when working with children. I also bring solid experience to the table: I worked as an au pair in the United States for two years, where I cared for young children and was deeply involved in their daily routines, learning, and emotional development. That time taught me how to manage busy schedules, handle different personalities, and create a balance of structure and fun in a home setting. I am comfortable with everything from homework help and creative play to meal prep and bedtime routines. On top of that, I am TEFL-certified and have tutoring experience, so I love bringing in little learning moments throughout the day. Your children’s safety, growth, and happiness would be my top priorities, and I would aim to become a trusted, positive presence in your family.
I am a creative soul! I love storytelling, creating content, and spending time outdoors. I enjoy reading, painting, journaling, and making crafts, which kids usually love joining in on. I am also passionate about music, dancing, and exploring different cultures. When I’m not in creative mode, I like to unwind by going for walks, trying out new recipes, or spending quality time with friends and family.
