Dear Family, my name is Kele, I live in Pretoria and am in my final year of studying Music. I am looking to au pair while I do my final year as I think it will help me gain some much-needed perspective as I gear up to launch myself into my career. Having grown up partly raising a sibling significantly younger than myself, I have always had an aptitude for childcare across all ages. I believe my greatest strength when it comes to caring for children is my creative and musical approach, as well as my ability to multi-task and adapt to each child's needs.

Why I would make the perfect au pair

I have experience in teaching, having taught and tutored Music, English, History and Geography since high school. I am an experienced driver and have been driving for about four years now. I volunteered at pre-schools from the age of 10, and progressed to teaching the piano to both neurotypical and neurodivergent children and teaching music to children at the Hatfield Montessori Pre-School. It is always my goal to encourage creativity, imagination and critical thinking when teaching children and this extends to childcare. I can cook and bake, I can tutor, I am patient and I can adapt to the needs of the child. Whilst I do not have childcare experience as formal as au pairing, I believe I have the skillset and passion to make for a great au pair. Please note that while I am non-religious myself, I have a deep respect for all religions and will adapt to your respective beliefs where needed.
