"Dear Family" message

Dear Family I am 25 years old I grew up in Hartbeespoort and I am the youngest of two, I am also currently busy studying part-time at UNISA. I have been an Aupair for 5 years now and 3 of those years I Aupaired abroad in Europe and the USA. I love to work with children and I will continue to work with children once I gain my honours in Psychology.

Why I would make the perfect au pair

This is a hard question to answer since no one is truly perfect, we are all human and we all make mistakes, but I know I will always try my best to be perfect and to do better. I have been doing Aupaair for quite some time now and still every time I learn something new. I have a great passion for working with kids and learning from them, I will always treat someone's kids with kindness and love, I am very slow to anger and when I get angry I am always just. I love to be outdoors and do lots of sports but I also love art and crafts. I am a great cook and I love to cook and I always clean up after everything we use. I am very easy to get along with and easy to talk to. I also know where to draw the line and how to fairly discipline kids. I believe I make a great Aupair.

Hobbies and other interests

I have quite a lot of hobbies but to name a few hiking, reading books, drawing, bible study, coloring, building puzzles, horseback riding, anything that gets my adrenaline pumping, swimming, I love to see wildlife, I love photography, I love to Braai with friends and family and I love cooking I always love to try new things, I can get bored with doing the same thing every day that is why I love kids it is never the same so it gets boring. I lived with this family in Sweden, I would bike the kids to school and back and to activities. I cooked for the family every night during the week, I washed the laundry of the family, I walked the dog every day, I cleaned the house every day, I went on vacation with the family, I did grocery shopping every week, and I played I lot of football with the boys since they loved it soo much.

They were a part-time family, I only worked for a couple of hours during the week, the mother mostly wanted me to help look after the 1-year-old boy and play with him feed him, and put him to sleep, sometimes I would also look after the 3-year-old girl if she wasn't in school, the infant only came later during the time I was working there and when the infant came, the mother mostly did everything, I helped with the boy and the older girl.

This family was also a part-time job, they had 4 kids but the mother mostly needed help with the youngest child the girl, I only helped 2 times a week when I would look after the girl and play with her, feed her, and give her naps until her mother returned. Over the weekends and nights times when the parents wanted to go out, I would babysit for them as well where I had to look after all 4 kids.
