My name is Emily and I am a 22 year old born and bread South African but I also have Belgian citizenship. I have two younger brothers aged 11 and 18, I’m very creative, enjoy spending times with friends, listening to music, anything to do with the beach and I have always loved working with children. While completing high school and my degree in Graphic design I babysat, worked as a stand up paddle board and kayak instructor with clients in the age range of 5-50+ years old as well as facilitating children’s birthday parties on the water and recently worked at a summer camp in America. I have always looked for jobs that have a high involvement in working with children as it truly is my passion. My time as a summer camp counselor has honed my ability to organize activities, manage groups, and create a positive and safe environment for kids. Being a stand-up paddleboarding instructor showcases my responsibility and capacity to teach, which are valuable skills when caring for children. My babysitting experience further reinforces your ability to connect with kids on a personal level and handle their daily needs with care.
