Dear family, Hi! My name is Katelin K, most people call me Katie. I am a third year psychology student at UCT and am super passionate about what I study. I am a complete A type person who loves being around people and in social settings. I have an interest in the fashion industry and my hobbies include sewing, painting and reading. I am a twin and am very family oriented. I am very creative and love trying new things.

Why I would make the perfect au pair

I think I would make the perfect aupair because I am a driven and independent person. Because of this, I will be dedicated to your children’s needs, whilest maintaining my studies, as well and my social life. I grew up having multiple au pairs due to the fact that my dad worked full time and my mom only went to university when I was 4. Because of this I had the privilege of constantly being surrounded by amazing big sister figures who played such important roles in my growing up. I will always be grateful that my parents found au pairs who became like family and cared so much about me and my brother. As an au pair, I would work everyday to be that big sister figure to your children and to play the significant role that my au pairs played in my life, in your children’s life.

I love studying psychology and am deeply interested in the neuropsych side of my degree. I have an interest in the fashion industry and my hobbies include sewing, painting and reading. I am a twin and am very family oriented. I am very creative and love trying new things. I was very sporty in school and did ballet for 16 years, however I now enjoy exercise in the form of yoga and Pilates
