Hi family! I am a 24-year-old young vibrant and energetic lady currently residing in Johannesburg, Gauteng. I am currently a student at Stadio looking to further my studies as an early childhood development practitioner.

Why I would make the perfect au pair

Through this au pair experience, I would love to learn more about my passion for kids through a different lens other than in an environment that measures their abilities from only an academic point of view, although I do have experience in Early Childhood Development and teaching grades 1-3 as well as tutoring grades 1-7. Building and understanding a child's mind is one of my greatest passions but not only is that of importance. Through this experience, I would like to gain knowledge of the parent-child relationship, different types of discipline a parent/s enforces in a home space as well as religion and culture etcetera from a different lens and space that measures their abilities holistically. I would be a great asset not only to your home but to the kiddos as well. My passion for kids runs deep, far, and wide - being able to teach and learn through the eyes and mind of a child is truly a gift.

My role as an assistant teacher was very hands-on in supporting the needs of the learner and educators, some of my responsibilities included that learners were always supervised and that their environment was condesive to learn and teach in, some learners needed one-on-one support with grasping certain concepts my role would be to step in and help the learner better understand the task in front of him/her.
