"Dear Family" message
Dear family, My name is Lauren L. I am a GED student that has a great passion for teaching, building relationships, creating new memories and overall making life's little stresses a little easier. I am currently staying in Berea, yet able to move or relocate if need be. I have my own car with a Valid driver's license. I have experience in au pairing, with a reference to give the family a piece of mind. What I'd like to achieve is to show the kids how beautiful life can be without a screen, that the old school way with sports, board games, and Journaling, that life isn't about staying behind a screen, and I'd love to be person to show them how much they're missing out on, as I am perfect candidate to do that, with my mindfulness skills, yoga, meditation, netball, sport games and to challenge them when it comes to education, to make it fun and enjoyable, not just 'left for last minute'. Overall I am extremely excited to possibly be apart of your beautiful family and hope to make fun loving relationships with the whole family.
Why I would make the perfect au pair
The reason I'd make the perfect au pair, although an au pair is subjective depending on the specific needs and expectations of the family, here are some of my qualities that may contribute to being a successful Au-pair. I am responsible and trustworthy, two crucial parts of being an au pair. I have a strong sense of responsibility towards the children I'll be caring for and their parents. The family has to be confident leaving their kids with me. I am child oriented, I enjoy spending time with kids, their pure innocence and everyday lessons brings peace to my heart. I am patient, attentive and can create a positive, nurturing environment for the kids. I have great communication skills able to understand and meet both the kids and the parents needs. I am flexible and adaptable, I know that life isn't easy and families often require changes or adjustments. I am a flexible individual who can adapt to changing situations and routines. I have an open mind to all cultures and am willing to embrace and learn from any new cultural experience that may arrive. I have great organisation and time management. I plan and manage my time effectively in order to fill all my responsibilities. Such as meal preparation, homework and daily routines I am independent and take initiative, I demonstrate independence by finding constructive activities or outings that can greatly contribute to the family's satisfaction. Problem solving skills, if there are any unexpected conflicts I can calmly handle them, by communicating. I am safety- conscious, I ensure that the children full safety and am vigilant, cautious and take necessary precautions to prevent accidents or any harm to your children. I have a positive attitude and sense of humor, by having this I'll be bringing a cheerful & pleasant atmosphere to the household. This will help defuse tension and create a more enjoyable environment for everyone.

Job description
I picked and dropped off Morgan from school, I prepared all meals, took her to extra murals, and worked over time if needed. Morgan and I grew very close and after school we'd do the occasional milkshake or smoothie run. I also helped with homework, and sometimes took her and her friends out for a girls weekend.
