I've been a foundation phase teacher at a mainstream school (Edgemead Primary School) for 3 years and have done 3 months of online teaching for TEFL. I am currently also doing in person tutoring in the evenings for a few learners with special needs.

"Dear Family" message

Dear Family I am Tyla C, I am 26 years old, turning 27 on the 28th of May. I completed my bachelor's degree in education for the foundation phase in 2019 and thereafter went straight into the classroom. I've always had a passion for working with children and guiding them in the right direction. One day, I hope to have 3 children of my own but if I could I'd have 10! For now, I'll have to do my best in helping all the other kids that I can. I have just completed my studies in Teaching and Learning support and am to graduate on the 28th of May. I am also currently tutoring a few learners with special needs in the evenings.

Why I would make the perfect au pair

I love working with children and am very passionate about the career that I've chosen. I'm extremely patient and I'd like to think that I'm very loving as well. I have experience teaching 25+ children and working with special needs learners.
