Hi there, my name is shaelin W. I’m an online psychology student in my last year. I am from KZN, looking for an au pair family to be apart of. I have work experience of babysitting, looking after kids of all ages as I do come from a big family, I absolutely adore children as I am planing to go into educational psychology. I have information about the early childhood developmental stages. I know information on special needs children as well as how to interact with them. I’ll always strive to do my best and ensure that your children are being safe and happy at all times. I am also a very good driver, I’ve driven distances of 1 hour to go to school everyday, driven 5-6 hours to visit my mum, I am a very safe driver.
Why I would make the perfect au pair
I would make the perfect au as I strongly care for children to be happy and helping with their development along the way. I’m willing to make sure all needs of the child is met from diaper changes to going out to the beach together or letting out imagine nations run wild and fight off pirates in the back yard. I am young so I’m energetic, I love to do things such as going for walks, running, swimming. All things outdoors just as much as being indoors, being in the kitchen wether it be for making an after school snack or an occasional home cooked meal for the family.
Hobbies and other interests
My hobbies consist of, visiting family, cooking, attempting to bake although my strengths are more in desserts such as cheesecake, peppermint tart and trifle 😂 but my cooking makes up for it! I love the ocean and swimming, I like to go for walks, hiking, running, I love trying new foods, so restaurant hopping is my favourite thing!
