Description of tutoring experience

I was a home school teacher and assistant, I worked with 13 kids, I also was an au pair in America for 2 years working for 2 families ages 4 and 6 and ages new born to 10 months old and 3 years old and with the kids I had to home school them because of the pandemic and assisted with mental and physical health, cutting and pasting, reading, writing, fun activities, outside play, nap times, potty training, all kinds of school related stuff.

"Dear Family" message

Dear Host Family My name is Carla, and will be turning 22 in March next year. I finished matric in 2019, got accepted into a Internationally accredited University in South Africa to study Foundation Phase Education, as I love working with kids. Unfortunately we couldn't afford for me to start my studies. I started aupair work at numerous families & assisted at a pre school while completing my aupair process for USA. Covid 19 & country lockdown delayed my travels but eventually started my aupair journey in Massachusetts in August 2020. I've had an amazing first year in your country working for a wonderful family. I've decided to extend for a 2nd year and had the privilege to help out a wonderful family in Vero Beach, Florida for 12 months. I describe myself as friendly and very helpful, bubbly and I laugh allot, I enjoy singing & danced in Hiphop crews in S.A. & love the outdoors. An important thing that i've learnt from my journey so far is to rather look to solutions and understanding people better. Communication is very important and things take time. I found that kids sometimes take a while to adapt to a new aupair. I feel I have achieved allot and added value to the host families and their kids that I spent time with and really have grown to accept and love them like family. I consider myself to have the ability to help families with special needs and circumstances should it be needed.
