Dear family. I am 23 years old and I live in Gauteng in the West Rand. I am very enthusiastic and optimistic. I am also very hardworking and I enjoy learning new skills and knowledge. I am currently studying towards a Psychology Degree as a online distance learner.

Why I would make the perfect au pair

I enjoy working with kids and helping them explore the world around them. I have a big interest in developmental psychology and feel that I learn a lot through working with kids. I have been an Au pair for 4 years where I worked abroad in the USA for 2 of those years. I believe that being an au pair means working as a team with the parents and communicating on a regular basis. I support the idea of letting kids explore the world individually with the guidance of a caregiver. I am very energetic and positive around the kids I work with, and try my best to model optimistic and good behaviour as I believe kids learn through observing. I am very patient with kids and try to understand things on their level. I still have a lot to learn and I believe that we learn a lot from kids.
