Dear Family My name is Kendra, I have a Bachelor of Social Science Degree in Psychology and a Postgraduate Certificate in Education. I relocated back to South Africa in February 2020, after teaching at a Kindergarten in Beijing, China, for a year. I do plan to go abroad again in the far future, but for now I would like to offer my care and love for children in a different way. Why I would make the perfect au pair

I love children and working with children has always been my passion, which is why I became a teacher. Being a teacher also allows me to help your child with the basics of learning or homework if they are in school. I am kind, patient, responsible and I love having fun. I can cook if needed. I love getting creative, so I enjoy doing crafts, painting and getting a bit messy. My previous job was teaching children from the ages of 18 months-6 years old and I have a niece who has just turned 2, who I help to look after sometimes too. Therefore I have experience with caring for young children, and babies from nappy changing to feeding and early mornings. making sure they are safe, having fun and creating activities that stimulate their minds.

Hobbies and other interests

I love the outdoors, going on adventures and spontaneous trips. However, I also enjoy some quiet time with a good book. I like sport like swimming and badminton, but call up a fun game of beach rugby too and I am there! I love animals especially dogs, so if you have animals, trust that they will be loved and take care of too. I have a passion for traveling and I hope to do a lot more in my lifetime.
