Dear Family, My name is Claire-Marie P. I am currently studying psychology with the hopes of one working within the field of psychology. I have a younger sister who is now 15 years old, growing up with her has taught me responsibility for others and myself and it has also taught me the value of being an older sibling. I grew up helping my mom look after my sister from the day she was born. I have also had outside experience in Au pairing and part-time baby sitting - My duties involved helping with homework, preparing of snacks and dinners, helping children with bath time and preparing for bedtime. I would engage in play time and keeping children entertained.

Why I would make the perfect au pair

I believe I would be the perfect au pair because I genuinely enjoy being around children, as they bring out the hidden childlike side of me and remind me of life's simple joys. As a psychology graduate, I developed a solid understanding of human behavior, emotional intelligence, and social interactions. My studies also covered child development, which provided valuable insights into children's emotional, social, and cognitive needs. Throughout my studies, I learned about different parenting styles and how to incorporate and work with parents to find what works best for their child. I believe this knowledge will enable me to provide nurturing and supportive care for your child. I have a variety of hobbies and interests that bring me joy and help me relax. Some of my favorites include: Outdoor activities like walking, visiting the beach, and exploring nature. I find that being in nature helps me clear my mind and feel grounded. Music is another passion of mine. I enjoy playing piano in my bedroom and using it as a creative outlet. I also love writing and composing my own songs, which allows me to express myself in a unique and meaningful way. In addition to music, I'm also a creative person who enjoys art and other crafty pursuits. I find that making things with my hands helps me relax and tap into my imagination.
