Dear Family, thinking about contributing to your lives and having the opportunity to make it even the slightest bit easier in any way that I can thrills me. I am Kagisho I, currently studying my BA degree at Wits with Psychology, Geography, Philosophy and South African Sign Language as my courses.
Why I would make the perfect au pair
I believe that I would make the perfect au pair because I am an aunt to 6 beautiful kids (3 girls- 2 six years of age and 1 eight and 3 boys- 11, 4 and 1) and in being an aunt to my nieces and nephews, I have grown to be patient, understanding and compassionate in my relations with them and my day to day life. I also believe that taking care of children, capable of learning so much and have keen minds, does not mean putting then in front of an electronic device. I believe that a child is capable of learning in ways that can be made exciting for them. Being an athlete I believe in a healthy lifestyle which pertains staying active, eating well and rest. I am a fast learner, committed, compassionate and honest. I value family and it would be a pleasure to contribute to yours.
Hobbies and other interests
I am a provincial athlete, I play outdoor and action netball. Last year I received the Rising Star award at Wits in my first year of being there. I enjoy sports and the character-building that comes with it. I am interested in good reads and fruitful articles. I enjoy writing short stories, poems, music and any art form. I enjoy innovation. I enjoy cooking in spare time. As an athlete I'm required to train, I've grown to enjoy the gym, running and swimming. I have a keen interest in sustainability and the environment.
