Introduction to families

"Dear Family" message

I am an honours student at the University of Johannesburg. I completed my Bachelors degree in Foundation Phase Teaching in 2023 and I am currently studying towards an honours degree in childhood education. I did a learnership in 2019 and I was placed at Roedean School SA to do my practicals and I completely enjoyed working with children and I decided to study something that would allow me to work with children because I really love them and enjoy spending time with them.

Why I would make the perfect au pair

I would make the perfect au pair because being with children is something that I am passionate about and something that I enjoy with all my heart. Since I’m studying a degree that mainly involves children I know a lot of ways to keep children entertained and what to do during certain situations. I also have experience since I was a teacher assistant at one of the best schools in South Africa, Roedean School SA, I learnt a lot about children and I also got to spend time with them and I really enjoy that.

Hobbies and other interests

I enjoy playing soccer, reading, drawing, playing the marimba and also doing gumboots. In high school I played soccer, played the marimba and I also performed at Gold reef city with some of my school mates, we were performing gumboots. I generally enjoy any form of physical activity.
