Hi there Families, My name is Sheena. I am 28 years old and have recently returned from being abroad where I taught English for two years to children between the ages of 4-8. I have a growing passion for teaching and of course, children. I am currently living in Hillcrest, KZN. I really hope to meet you all soon and have some fun together!
Why I would make the perfect au pair
I believe helping and interacting with children has always been a passion of mine. I have 3 years of childcare experience and I only wish to keep pursuing this. Having prior experience with children has taught me how to adapt to new environments quickly and have an understanding for children's needs and wants. I did a year of Au pairing in America to children between the ages of 3-8 and loved every minute of it. I have recently become enrolled through Varsity College as a part time student, where I am studying towards a BA in psychology, and hope to one day branch out towards child care psychology.
Hobbies and other interests
I have a great interest for cooking and being outdoors. So you'll either find me cooking or baking up something new or outdoors having some fun in the sun! I have been apart of sports teams, such as swimming, hockey and cross country. So being active and outdoors is important to me!
