Description of tutoring experience

Due to the fact that I work at a school and tutoring part time I have gained a lot of experience. I have experience tutoring a autistic and ADHD student. I have assisted learners with their school work from grade 4 to matric. This means I am comfortable working with intersen phase and high school learners. I have also tutored learners in both English and Afrikaans.

Dear family... When I was in school I was give the help and support that I needed excel in life and I feel strongly about being that support for the youth of today. I have a passion for helping them and being a form of support for them. I believe in not only helping the youth but taking on a mentorship role for them. I feel with the right guidance and care our youth can step into the world with a good solid foundation and ready for the challenges they might face. I hope that I can be that for your child. <3

Why I would make the perfect au pair

I would make the perfect au pair because... I really love working with preteens and teenagers. I have a cell group at my church and I am part of the youth leadership at my church. I gave horse riding lessons to teenagers and mentored them. I currently work at New Hope School as an assistant and have experience tutoring children. Being an assistant at a school and tutoring part time has taught me many skills that will be useful for au pairing. New Hope is a special needs school therefore I have experience working with a variety of learning disabilities such as dyslexia, ADHD, autism, ODD and more. During my time assisting at schools I have gain experienced in grade 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10 and 11. I also have experience in reading and scribing test papers for learners with concessions. I have been involved in coaching soccer and athletics for 3 year at New Hope School. Another useful aspect is my knowledge about the schooling system and how it functions. This is due to my involvement in schools as an assistant and University student studying education. I have a good grasping of teaching and understanding children.

Hobbies and other interests

I enjoy horse riding and caring for my three horse. I do have a creative side meaning I love drawing and painting and doing crafts like mosaics. I am also keen to start learning the basic of sewing and making clothes. I enjoy reading and creative writing. But mostly I love anything that involves my animal and nature. I enjoy being physically activity so gym and sports are important for me.
