"Dear Family" message

Dear Family, I spent a year and a half in the US as a live-in AuPair after matric. I got back from my extension year in Washington, DC in December’19. I have experience with children who are 2-16yrs old and can comfortably work with multiple children at a time. My responsibilities consisted of getting the kids up and ready for school, preparing breakfast and school lunches, driving to and from school and extra curricular activities, prepping snacks and indoor&outdoor activities, dinner prep and bath time.

Why I would make the perfect au pair

I’m punctual, consistent, responsible, honest and willing to work as part of a team. I’m very proactive and I’m great at coming up with activities for children. I’m also a great driver with US and South African driving experience on freeways and city driving. I think I’d make a great AuPair because I have gained skills in open and effective communication, I’m confident, proactive and patient.

Hobbies and other interests

I’m a pretty active and sporty person. In school I played netball, soccer and track/field. When travelling I rock climb, kayak, paddle board and downhill skiing in the winter. I’m pretty creative and sew my own clothes.
