Introduction to families

"Dear Family" message

Dear Family I am Olga V, I grew up on a farm outside of Montagu and I went to high school in town. I finished with my nursing degree in 2023. My special needs experience came from my clinical hours while I studied nursing, as part of our psychiatric hours. I worked in Witrand hospital in Potchefstroom with mentally disabled patients (adults and children). Our responsibilities included helping during mealtimes, giving medication (under supervision) and helping to bath and change the patients. We also did stimulation activities with the patients.

Why I would make the perfect au pair

I am a very creative person and love trying new things, but I am also very good at setting and following a routine, which is important as it offers stability to children, but also freedom to explore something new. I like being able to teach kids and to help them navigate through life as they grow and learn. I am also qualified in BLS for children and adults and I can handle emergency situations very well.

Hobbies and other interests

My hobbies include reading, painting and baking. I also like watching sports and doing outdoor activities, such as swimming, and playing games.
