"Dear Family" message

Dear Family I am a young lady who is completing her degree in Bachelor of Education. I have been a tutor for 5 years and a foundation phase teacher for 2 and a half years. I teach English, Mathematics and Life Skills … I was also once an Afrikaans teacher for ages 5-10 for 6 months. I’ve tutored intermediate and high-school phases too in Mathematics, English, Afrikaans, Business Studies and Life Sciences. I have an idea of most learning content in the curriculum so I am able to tutor most subjects, just ask! :) I am also a certified life coach, cognitive behavioral therapist coach and rational emotive brain therapy coach. My students have grown both with my assistance and built independent learning styles and techniques which I’ve taught them that has always stuck with them for years. I believe that holistic development is a key factor in working with children so I am able to make sure each aspect is met during our time spent together. I have experience in both CAPS and IEB academic curriculums.

Why I would make the perfect au pair

As someone with passion for childhood development and as a teacher, I have developed many skills, experience and knowledge which makes me a confident, coordinated, organised, empowered, facilitated and motivated childcare worker. I truly enjoy forming bonds with children and educating them and I will never go a day without teaching a child something new! Growing minds are to be watered and nurtured. Having me as an au pair is like having a live in teacher! I’ve also been homeschooled in my life so I have an idea of the process with tutoring, routine and mindset. I am also a certified life coach which means I will be able to bring great benefit to your household when it comes to motivating them and assisting them in developing the right growth mindset so that they can succeed at all their academics and goals.
