Introduction to families
Hi there, my name is Rebekah but most of the kids I have looked after settle on Bekah or Bex. Over the last few years I have completed my BA degree in psychology and communications whilst Au pairing for multiple families. I'm an enthusiastic, reliable and kind individual who works hard and loves what I do. Over the past 6 years Au pairing has been an extremely rewarding experience further assuring that working with kids is my passion and something I not only enjoy but am really good at doing!
I'd make a great au pair as I love what I do and have the experience to back it up. Over the past 6 years I have looked after children ranging from just a few months to 17 years old, I have learnt so much and have become very confident in working and handling situations with the kids that I look after. I also have two incredible younger siblings, a younger brother and a sister, who has ADHD which helped prepare me for multiple children I have looked after that have ADHD as well as other learning difficulties. I also had to take a two week infant training course in America to aupair the kids I took care of for a year abroad as well as needing over 200 hours experience in order to apply. So I feel more than qualified and confident in my ability to take care of your kids and provide a healthy and happy environment. I also spent 2 months prior gaining childcare experience at a daycare ranging from newborns to 2 years old. In the last year I have helped looked after twin four year old boys who had recently lost a parent, this came with new challenges however they stole my heart and it has been an extremely rewarding experience where I have learnt so much. With all this in mind I am confident in my ability to be a great Au pair for your family and can't wait to hear from you!
My hobbies include a love for the ocean and the outdoors, sports particularly hockey, but I've spent many afternoons playing many sports from soccer to cricket to touch rugby. I also have a love for art and am very creative and love expressing this through arts and crafts, gardening or baking! I'm a health conscious energetic individual and I have just completed my BA degree in psychology and due to this have no time constraints.

Fetching children from 3 different schools. Assisting with homework, extra-curricular activities and making munch boxes. Each day she would check everything was ready for the next school day and sign the homework books. Two of the children are dyslexic so extra supervision was critical. She would take them to OT, Speech and anything else necessary. During the holidays Rebekah would stay for extended hours and also entertain the children at numerous locations.

I have a recruitment company and I had 130 applications for this role. I shortlisted to 7 and only 3 showed up for the interview. Out of the 3 non of the applicants were suitable. Rebekah was recommended to me through an external source and her energy was contagious from the beginning. Our kids love/loved her and i would still call on her in times of need. I have decided to stop working so therefore we didn't need extra help anymore. Rebekah would be an asset to any family.
