Introduction to families
Dear family, I hope to be the perfect candidate you will consider to look after your child/children. When it comes to Au Pairing, the main objective is the children's well-being. I am able to handle multiple tasks on a daily basis. I flourish with a routine with structured times but I am flexible when something unusual happens as we all know life can be unpredictable. You can rely on me to be on time for work and activities as I am a dependable person who is great at time management. I try to always use creative approaches rather than structured and obvious ways to solve problems. I am proud to say that I am energetic, fun, ambitious and I'm eager to learn new skills. I love working with children and being a good role model for them. I like making their days fun for them. I am looking for my perfect fit family who I can build a long-term relationship with. I am very open to discussing the reasons as to why I left my previous jobs.
I absolutely adore working and being around children. I am currently studying Education Foundation Phase at Aros for but I only need to go to class every Saturday. My goal is to implement what I'm studying to the children I'm Au Pairing for in hopes that it will help them improve their school work and emotional well-being. My goal is to have a good impact on every child's developmental stage. I read up about child psychology frequently so that I can find creative ways to teach them life lessons rather than scold or punish them. I find it's very important to encourage children to do their best in everything they do, no matter how small and to find out what their strengths and weaknesses are. I love going to all the outdoor activities and competitions so that I can support the children! I like making fun memories with kids. I want them to remember me one day!
One of my other passions is horses. I studied for a year in Cape Town at REC Equestrian Academy and am now proud to call myself a qualified Stable Yard Manager and groom. I like the occasional get together with some close friends or spending a relaxed day at home coloring in, crocheting or reading or going hiking. I like going for jogs or going to the beach when the weather allows it! Anything sporty is a yes from me. I love the outdoors and adore going to interesting markets with cute little things. I think that family and close friends are important so I love spending my off time with them. I like reading books that can teach me something new in life and I like drawing and painting.

Twins of 3 years old, 7 and 9.
I had to get the kids ready for school in the morning and prepare their lunch boxes. I occasionally had to drop them off at school but the parents did that most of the time. I had to fetch them from school and make sure the twins get an afternoon nap in. We did homework while the twins slept. We were fortunate to have horses so me and the two older kids went riding almost every day. They loved it when i gave them lessons so we did that quite often. I had to go with when the kids took part in a horse riding competition so that i can lend a helping hand and motivate the kids. I was on duty every second weekend. Cooking every night was also a part of the job so i had to make supper for everyone in the evenings as well as occasional grocery shopping.

3 females(4,7 and 10) and one male(5 months)
I had to wake the children at 5:45am and get them ready for school. I packed an extra lunch box to take to school so that they could eat before they start with afternoon activities. We did homework at home and I ensured that all letters from school was given to the mom. I made sure they bathed at 17:30 and I made dinner every night. It was expected of me to also tuck the kids in at night by reading them a bedtime story or watching a movie with them. Occasional babysitting was expected.

I worked from 7 till 19:00. I woke the twin girls (18 months when I started) up every morning, dressed them and gave them breakfast with their Vitamins. I did stimulating activities with them every day before and after they had their afternoon nap. I gave them healthy lunch and helped bath them and put them in bed at 19:00 every night.

Occasional morning drop offs. Pick up the kids from school and provide lunch for them at home while preparing for afternoon activities. I'd drive the kids to extra mural activities and do homework with them and help them study. I ran extra errands for the family when neccessary (the family entrusted me with a family credit card I kept with me). I looked after the kids full time a few times, being trusted with everything on my own including running the household.

2 months, 18 months and 5 years old. All girls.
I started work at 7am. I packed school lunch boxes for the kids and got them ready for school. I dropped them off at school and checked up with the teacher if everything is still okay with them at school. While the other two kids were at school, I looked after the 2 month old at home. Prepared a bottle, stimulated her and put her to bed when she was tired. I took the kids to extra mural activities every Tuesday and Thursday. I cooked dinner every night.
