Dear Family, I am a 23 year old student currently residing in Wynberg, Cape Town. I have a degree in Psychology and Philosophy from Wits University, and am currently completing my honours degree in psychology. I am extremely passionate about mental health and psychotherapeutic interventions, especially regarding children. I have a deep love for children and animals, and understand the importance of stable and healthy environments for children to develop and prosper.
Why I would make the perfect au pair
Having studied psychology, I am understanding when it comes to childcare and a child's individual development. I have experience in tutoring and au pairing, and I really enjoy learning from and teaching children. Additionally, I have worked in the field of play/sensory therapy, which can be extremely beneficial for children aged 0-10 years. This experience assists me with understanding children and their needs, while also having fun with them.
