"Dear Family" message

Dear Family. First of all, I know choosing someone to look after your little ones is daunting, but I hope after getting to know me you will feel a little more at ease. My name is Danel, and my surname recently changed as I recently got married. My husband is a doctor busy with his internship and we live in Ninapark, Pretoria. Someone really important to me is my sister, we have an extraordinarily strong bond. She is 2 years older than me, and she is a math and science teacher. I dream of someday being a stay-at-home mom with lots of children to look after, as I believe that is my actual calling. But I also have a career goal. It is to someday have my practice (From Pregnant to Parent) where moms can come to when pregnant to exercise, where I help them with birthing classes and antenatal classes for birth preparation, and after help, moms with breastfeeding, then teach moms how to “mommy” and help babies reach their milestones.

Why I would make the perfect au pair

I would describe myself as enthusiastic, loving, and caring. I always have and always will love children. I find myself so intrigued by their behaviours. I have worked with primary school kids, toddlers, and babies. Babies are for sure my passion, and it started from a very small age when I would always ask to hold my nieces and nephews as soon as my aunt stepped foot in the door. Just the talk of an opportunity to work with babies excites me. Everyone important in my life knows what a big part moms and babies play in my life and that being at their service is my main calling.

Hobbies and other interests

I love nature, especially flowers. My house always has a bunch of flowers somewhere. I also like to go on walks and hikes to be in nature. I love to cook and bake, and I feel that is the way I show love. I like taking pictures of special moments or beautiful scenery. I sometimes like to read and paint and decorating anything is also one of my favourite things to do.
