Introduction to families
Greetings family🙂. My name is Sam D, born and bred in KZN and have resided in GP for 5years now. I have coached various sports which are netball, swimming, athletics, hockey and softball for 4years at schools namely Midstream Primary Ridge, St. Mary’s DSG and currently a PE teacher Southdowns College. I consider myself to be a kind, gregarious, trustworthy, patient, and diligent individual. I have worked as a house sister (boarding assistant) at St Mary’s with a wide range of age groups (from grade 5 through to matric) which afforded me the opportunity to look after them as they were home away from home, plan exciting weekend activities and assist learners with their homework and projects to ensure they are in a position to excel at their academics. I adore kids, and they bring me endless happiness.
I have a passion of teaching children new things, being exposed to various age groups, this has afforded me the opportunity to know how to adapt to the children’s needs at that stage of development. I have tutoring experience, currently studying myself and monitored study time (prep) in my years of being a boarding assistant-I believe this makes me eligible to assist with homework.
As a person leading an active lifestyle my hobbies mostly encompass gym, hiking and swimming. In my spare time I enjoy reading, chess, watching movies and listen to music.
