Introduction to families

"Dear Family" message

Dear family I am a qualified teacher with 9 years of teaching experience, with plenty of specialty courses in dyslexia, autism, ADHD and other learning difficulties. Prior to completing my degree I au-paired for a family for 2 years for a family of 3 children between the ages of 7 and 16. My duties included collecting children from school, planning fun activities, preparing school lunches, doing the household shopping and helping with all extra murals and homework. I have successfully owned and run my own preschool and homeschool centre since June 2020, which has held plenty of responsibility and challenges. Looking forward to the future I would like to find an au-pair position that allows more time in order to build journals online for children and do parent workshops on the weekends.

Why I would make the perfect au pair

I strongly believe in nature based learning and that in order for any child to succeed in life, they need to first love and believe in themselves. I believe that I can help any child to see their own uniqueness and learn to love it and use it as their superpower. I have plenty of experience with children of all ages and honestly feel that I have made a positive impact on all of their lives. I have a love for younger children - between the ages of 6 months and 13 years and have plenty of patience and experience with these ages.

Being a new mom, I have very little time for most of my previous hobbies and interests, however I really enjoy cooking and trying new recipes. I value family time above anything else and spend most of my time with family and friends.
