Introduction to families
Hello Family Victoria is my name. I am an English and Psychology graduate. My desire to work with children has always been a driving force behind my decision to earn a degree in psychology and English. The ultimate objective was either going to be foundation phase education or child psychology, or maybe even both. I have experience working in a primary school as a teacher's assistant and reading champion before moving on to become an ASD facilitator where I deal with an autistic youngster. I offered assistance within a classroom settings in any subject where students lacked understanding or just couldn't keep up with the lesson. My desire to influence the minds of next generations was sparked at this point. I therefore look forward to having a positive impact on your family's lives and gaining experience from this opportunity. Thank You! I hope to hear from you soon.
Friends and family have described me as calm and childlike. I no longer know if one could use both of those words in the same phrase after working at a school but I have an ability to make things enjoyable for children because of my playful, childlike attitude. especially when it comes to learning. When it comes to discipline, having a patient, calm, and gentle demeanor makes it difficult for them to get under my skin. I make an effort to understand the child's needs, and after working in a childcare environment, I've come to adore so many different faces and characteristics. I've come to understand that each child is unique in the way that they have distinct needs, and that I can adjust to meet those needs. I have a strong work ethic because I enjoy being occupied. I also think that playing outside, engaging in creative activities, and taking field trips to attractions like the beach or museums are far better for kids than television, Tiktok, and social media.
I spend the most of my free time with my family, friends, or at church. As the current youth leader at my church, I'm passionate about preparing exciting activities and games for the young members to participate in on a Friday night in order to keep them off the streets as well as organizing fundraising events for our upcoming camp. I also enjoy singing and listening to music. Prior to recently, I was a clarinet player in our church band, but I quit to sing in the band instead because singing is and always has been my favorite thing to do.
