Introduction to families
Hi, my name is Nabeelah, “Bee” for short. I am a third-year Psychology and English student with the dream of becoming a children’s psychologist. My favourite course is developmental psychology where I have learnt how to healthily promote the growth of the young mind through engaging and fun activities. I am passionate and dedicated to creating a nurturing and joyful environment for the kids I au pair, and providing dependable support to the amazing parents entrusting their kiddies to my care.
I believe I would make an ideal au pair due to my genuine love for children, combined with my responsible and caring nature. Additionally, my university classes take place online, therefore I will be able to give your kiddos my undivided attention. With a strong commitment to safety, education, and fun, I'm excited to become an integral part of your family's daily life and provide the best care possible.
Some of my hobbies include cooking and baking for friends and family, particularly brownies and cakes. I also enjoy reading, playing the piano, hiking, and going to the gym. Additionally, I like to visit and volunteer at children’s homes and centres, where I participate in story-times, arts and crafts, as well as organize and create recreational activities for the kids.

2 Girls - Ages 8 and 13
I was privately employed as an au pair and tutor for 2 girls. One 8 years old, diagnosed with ADHD enrolled at a montessori, and one 13 year old in grade 8. I was employed for a year, and tutored both the CAPS and IEB curriculums. I was required to get the girls ready for school, pack their lunches, prepare their meals, help with homework and projects, plan outings and activities, and tutor them for exams.

I am writing to provide a strong recommendation for Nabeelah, who has been an invaluable part of our family as an au pair and tutor for the past year. I believe her dedication, skills, and caring nature would make her an excellent fit for any family. Nabeelah was recommended to us through higher-ups within her university faculty, as she is undergoing coursework in developmental psychology and tutors English at a university level. Nabeelah joined our family and quickly established herself as an integral member. Not only did she provide exceptional care and guidance to my 8 and 13 year old daughters, but she also ensured they followed a consistent routine. With my youngest’s ADHD diagnosis, Nabeelah displayed remarkable patience and understanding, creating an environment that supported her unique needs and helping her thrive both academically and personally. One of her standout qualities was her level of organizational skills. She easily and skilfully managed my daughters' schedules, ensuring they attended school and extracurricular activities punctually as well as following a meal plan in line with their dietary requirements. Her dedication to maintaining a structured routine greatly contributed to the smooth functioning of our household. Nabeelah didn't just fulfill her responsibilities; she went above and beyond to foster a nurturing and supportive environment. Her ability to establish a deep bond with both of my girls individually was truly commendable. This personalized approach allowed her to tailor her care and tutoring to their specific personalities and learning styles. Communication was another clear strength of hers. She kept me well-informed about my daughters' progress, any challenges they faced, and the strategies she implemented to address them. This open and transparent communication helped us work collaboratively to provide the best possible support to my kids. Overall, I am confident that Nabeelah will excel in any new position she finds herself in. Her dedication, adaptability, and the genuine care she brings to her role in child-care are truly exceptional. Please feel free to contact me if you need any further information or would like to discuss her qualifications in more detail. I trust you will follow to consider her for new opportunities. I have no doubt that she will continue to make a positive impact on others, just as she did within our family.
