"Dear Family" message
Dear Host Family, I would like to introduce myself to you and let you know a little bit about me so that you will understand why I would be a good choice to have as an au pair. My name is Cornel B, I am 18 years old and I live in Worcester, Western Cape. I am currently matric and writing my final exam in November. When I finish school, I will be studying for an Accountant. But in the meantime, I would like to be an au pair. My mother is Beverley and lives in Mosselbay and she owns her own hair salon, my dad is Salmon and lives in Worcester and he is a Production Manager. I have 2 sisters, both are older than me and a younger brother. My oldest sister has a non-profit organization that helps unprivileged children of any age and she lives in Bonnievale. My middle sister is an au pair for a family in Durbanville, and is currently living with them.
Why I would make the perfect au pair
I would love to become your au pair because I love children and enjoy spending time with them. I am prepared and I am well aware of the fact that being like a big sister for your children comes along with responsibilities for them and it will not always be just play and fun. I am kind, friendly and very loyal. I am willing to learn new things and to be someone to look up to for your children. I am hardworking and is also willing to put in extra. I hope that I will find the right family and that I will succeed in making them happy.
Hobbies and other interests
I enjoy spending time with my friends and family in my spare time. I like playing netball and I'm always up for an adventure. I like the outdoors and playing with my dogs. I like watching movies. I like cooking and baking a lot, and is always down to try something new. I often spend time babysitting my sister's baby when they need me. I enjoy going to the beach, swimming, eating ice cream and enjoying the sun.
