Why I would make the perfect au pair

A few interesting facts about me! I am very passionate about every person I get a chance to connect with and everything I engage in. I love helping others in ways that make their life run a little bit “smoother”. I also believe that I am a bit of a master organizer, so keeping up with daily activities and driving around is no problem for me. I love being in the presence of babies and children, as they still teach me so much about life. Even though I may have the responsibility to take care of your children, I promise to care for them as you would. It is one of my biggest dreams to one day become a great child and adolescent psychologist. Being an AuPair, nanny or babysitter has always given me the platform and opportunity to make a difference in children’s lives where I can while learning so much about them. I have completed my Honours degree in December 2023 and am not pursuing a Masters program this year (2024) or in 2025, as I would like to continue gaining practical experience and learning as much as I can until I feel that my time is right for pursuing Masters, and of course I would like to continue saving for my studies. So I currently have extra time and need for helping others through something I am good at and enjoy. From when I can remember, I have always found myself babysitting other younger children around me, or being very empathic and understanding about children and diverse learners. Additional to these 5+ years babysitting for "pocket money" in school, I was also an AuPair for a year in 2018 after matriculating in 2017 to a girl of 4 turned 5 and boy of 3 turned 4 years in Rhode Island, USA through AuPairCare. Throughout my undergraduate studies I took up babysitting casually and during my final year (2022) I was also an AuPair to a baby girl. I hope to meet you soon, share more about myself and learn more about your family!

Hobbies and other interests

I create art as a "side business", like drawing hands, painting animals, abstract art or doing commissions for people. I love to be outside. I always find so many benefits for being outside, taking walks around the neighborhood, or even just walking around the garden. I am an avid gardener and like to landscape. I also enjoy exercising regularly in the garden, boxing, hiking and golfing with my fiancee. Currently I enjoy reading psychology research articles, autobiographies and self-help books and am very fond of continuous learning and finding alternative ways of learning and understanding the things around us. I also enjoy watching or listening to crime fiction or docuseries or the occasional reality show! I like making snacks and baking - a regular activity which I believe is a must for anyone. I follow a healthy lifestyle as much as I can, so I like to disguise vegetables in food - also why I would make a perfect AuPair for your family - but I definitely believe in balance and enjoying your baked goods as a treat!
