Description of tutoring experience

As I am a mother to 2 adult, successfully independent children of my own, I have always been involved and played an integral part in their education. I was a class rep throughout their prep/primary school time and would often spend time in the class assisting the teacher with support and help with class work when required. I have tutored the 2 girls that I have looked after for the last 5 years.

Dear family Thank you for this opportunity to introduce myself to you. My name is Fran. I have extensive work experience in the corporate environment and I have also raised 2 children of my own, thus giving me the life and genuine experience of looking after children. The reason for my change in profession is because of retrenchment reasons and my simple enjoyment of the company of children of all ages. I currently work for a lovely family of 4 (2 teenagers aged 16 and 19), however I feel my services will no longer be required as the eldest child is now 19 and has her own car. Although I live in Randparkridge, I am happy to travel to wherever you may reside or need your children to go to.

Why I would make the perfect au pair

Firstly, my age. I have life experience and I have dealt personally with the development and upbringing of my own 2 adult children who are now both young professionals in their chosen fields. I know how to react calmly and what to do in an emergency and which steps to follow. I am past the stage of suddenly wanting to go away at the last minute or travelling for gap years etc and thus leaving you in the lurch. I have 37 years of driving experience with no accidents. I am a confident and responsible driver. My car is serviced annually at the dealership where it was purchased and proof can be provided, if required. Timewise, I am 100% reliable and flexible and should there be any unexpected changes, I am available and adapt accordingly. My time is my own and I have no other commitments. I am mature and professional and extremely trustworthy and discreet. I am available for any other help, such as shopping or admin work if necessary. Although I may be older than the usual au-pair, I am extremely up to date with social media and the pros and cons thereof. I am very young at heart and have no problem playing games be it outside or play station etc.
