Description of tutoring experience
Voluntary and paid tutoring lessons for primary and high school students. In all cases, the student's results increased. I am currently working with Tutors SA. Parents have given great feedback on my tutoring. I have also worked for UCT, whereby I participated in the 2023 systemic testing at primary schools. I feel that I gained a lot of experience while in this position.

Introduction to families
"Dear Family" message
Dear Family I am currently in my 4th year at the University of Cape Town. I grew up surrounded by many cousins and two siblings. I have an older sister, and a younger brother (who is 8 years younger than me). Therefore, looking after him from a very young age has aided me with great childcare experience. I believe that I would be a perfect fit for your family as I am a friendly, respectable individual. Someone who can easily adapt to different environments and circumstances. I have a positive attitude and a very friendly nature. I have had experiences with babysitting and tutoring, whereby positive increases in academic marks have been the result. I really enjoy working and playing with children. I find that I am a very patient person, and this has always proven to be a beneficial characteristic when working with children. I will ensure that I put your child/children as my top priority. I will make sure that I am always available when needed, to care for the child/children.
Why I would make the perfect au pair
I am a punctual individual and therefore, always ensure that I stick to my planner. This helps so that I am never late to any meeting. I am extremely patient and know how to approach situations from many different angles. I am also a very empathetic person. I am 100% a dog lover, and will also be willing to assist with caring and looking after them. From a young age, I started learning how to cook and bake, and I can confidently say that that is now a skill that I can put to good use. I have my Code B driving license, and also have access to my own car. Additionally, I am great at tutoring students and even just helping them understand basic/ general concepts. I am a certified level-3 first aider.
Hobbies and other interests
Reading Participating in board games and trivia games Watching cooking/baking shows, and watching trivia/general knowledge shows on TV I am very knowledgeable and interested in the application and the art of makeup I enjoy researching, whether it is for academic purposes or just reaching a random topic
