Introduction to families
Dear family Thank you for viewing my profile. My name is Tamir C, I am a Psychology honours graduate from the university of Cape Town. I am currently studying towards my post graduate diploma in business administration at Wits university. I currently live in Johannesburg South with my family.
I have over 2 years experience in child care particularly with children aged between 4-11. This experience was gained through volunteering at orphanages, both in Cape Town and Johannesburg, during my undergraduate years. During this period I was in tasked with assisting with meal prep, assisting with homework, getting the children cleaned up after play time, and general activities such as reading to them or playing games outside. These experiences taught me that being an au pair is more than just looking after children. It is about creating a safe and happy environment where your children are able to grow. I also have 4 years experience tutoring primary school students. So, I will be more than capable of helping your children with any school work. My calm and patient personality will help me to master any difficult situations that may arise. I would also be more than happy taking your children to their extra-curricular activities and I am willing to work weekends should you want some time to yourself.
In my spare time I love to read poetry, draw and I often go hiking. I am a home body most of the time and really enjoy spending time with my close friends and family.
