Description of tutoring experience

I have tutored kids between the ages of 4 and 10. I would first understand the children's focus span and work around that and establish a suitable time table to accommodate them. Sometime back I had an experience with a child whose focus and attention would be just for 30 minutes, so I did as much as I could to tutor them at that time. I have grown to believe that even infants are intelligent, so I would sing for them the ABC songs, and talk to them. It helps with speech development and its quite soothing for them as well.
