Dear Family What a privilege it would be to be a part of your special family! My desire would be to serve you to the best of my ability and to bring added joy to the family circle. My name is Rebecca and I currently live in Hillcrest but will be relocating back to Pietermaritzburg. I have grown up in a large family with 3 siblings. I am the second born of 4 children. We are a very close knit family and would therefore look forward to becoming part of a family with similar principles and ideals. I have completed 2 years of Varsity education in Foundation Phase Teaching and have since started my degree in Marketing and Business Management. I am a very social being and love interacting with people of all walks of life. My passion is for little people and watching them grow and develop into who they are meant to be. Having two younger siblings that I love spending time with, I do also enjoy spending time with older children and always hope to be a good and healthy example to them. It can be tough at times for them due to hormonal changes that come with their age territory, but having been there myself and having the understanding and experience of this, I feel that it is a pivotal part of their development and that they need, more than ever, good and wholesome guidance. My reason for wanting to become an Au Pair is firstly for my love of people, old and young alike. I also would appreciate the opportunity to learn and grow through experiencing other cultures and making a positive difference in the lives of others. I know in my heart that I would be an asset to your family because of the love that I have to give and through the upbringing that I have had and the morals and principles that have been instilled in me. My loyalty and honesty, along with my integrity would be my commitment to you.

Why I would make the perfect au pair

Having many siblings, older and younger than me, it has given me much experience - along with caring for a host of other children that I have always loved and learned from. As each person is so completely different and unique it is a privilege to see someone grow, develop and evolve, especially knowing that you might have played a small role in it. I have the experience needed as well as having done my First Aid course.
