Dear Family, You can call me Lu. I am 30 years of age. I stay with my mom and sister in Faerie Glen, Pretoria East. I have no children of my own but I do love and enjoy taking care of children. I have cared for and babysat a few of my nieces and nephews, the youngest being just over a year old, and the oldest being 13 years old. Understandably, in the times that we are currently living in, it has indeed become increasingly difficult for families to balance work and home life, while trying your very best to keep your children safe and secure. My intention and goal is to lighten your burden/s to the best of my ability and assist in being a reliable, professional, and responsible helper. My number one priority is to ensure that your children are safe and feel safe at all times.

Why I would make the perfect au pair

I would make the perfect au pair because although I do not have any children of my own, I can understand the pressures that come with trying to balance work and home life. I have cared for a few of my nieces and nephews in the early months of the start of the pandemic - between the ages of 1yr and 13yrs. I have the greatest and deepest respect for parents who are trying their very best to make sure that their children are well taken of, especially since things have become more difficult because of the pandemic so I really enjoy being able to help and lighten the burden of parents. I am a very compassionate, understanding, respectful and professional person, so I will definitely ensure that safety measures and precautions are taken between myself and your child/children. Any opportunity that is given to me is taken very seriously and caring for your child/children will be my number one priority that will not be taken lightly. I would also like to inform you that I am fully vaccinated.

I enjoy going out, being adventurous, and playing occasional tennis. But since the pandemic, my hobbies include reading fictional novels, taking walks, and growing my own vegetables.
