Dear Family My name is Michela. I am a third year student at the University of Pretoria studying to become a foundation phase teacher, and I am looking for an au pair/nanny job for any period of time you may need me. I love working with children and have prior childcare experience with infants (from newborn) and toddlers, though I have also tutored children of other school ages. In addition to being an au pair/nanny, I am willing and able to cook, help the children with homework if needed, and babysit after hours occasionally if needed. I hope to hear back from you soon!

Why I would make the perfect au pair

I would make the perfect au pair due as I work very well with children of all ages and have ample experience. I am able to tutor all subjects from Grades R to 9, and 11 subjects for Grades 10 to 12. I have three years of childcare experience in various contexts, specialising in the age range from newborn to 4 years old, but I have also looked after children older than that. Punctuality and communication are very important to me, and are qualities that I bring into my work. I do not have anything else besides university pressing on my schedule, and therefore will not have interruptions in work unless there is an emergency. In short, I am able to build great relationships with children and I have skills from past childcare experience.
