Introduction to families
Dear Family, With a teaching degree and over 20 years teaching, especially teaching special needs children, and Au Pairing I bring loads of experience working with children to your family.
I’m empathetic, a great listener, can think on my feet and have boundless energy and enthusiasm when it comes to working with kids. I absolutely love what I do and this shows in the work I do. I love tutoring, mentoring and helping kids reach their individual potential and I know that when a child feels heard, understood and safe they can do just about anything that they set their minds to.
Walking, yoga, reading, live music shows, theatre and hanging out with my friends, my family and my dog.

Girl Aged 3 when I started
Collecting child from school, preparing lunch and getting her ready for afternoon extra murals, taking to afternoon extra murals and then taking her home. Tutoring homework, planning projects, doing research, studying for exams, preparation for any school activity. Ensuring any and all school admin is taken care of. If no homework or extra murals, swimming with the child, planning play dates, engaging in interesting an d stimulating educational activities. During holidays, planning fun and interesting outings with friends. Organising for friends to come over and taking child to play at friends houses. Organising gifts for friends parties and lifting child to and from those parties. Always encouraging independence with love, kindness and empathy. Becoming a second mom to the child. Watching her grow up has been one of the most rewarding parts of my life!!
