"Dear Family" message

Dear family I am a 32 year old female. I have been working with kids my entire life, doing all sorts of things from babysitting to volunteering as a teacher at schools. I have a passion for teaching and helping kids grow into the best versions of themselves they can be. The kids I look after become a part of my life like my own family, it is not just a job to me, it is making a difference in our future by being a supportive and stable part of the kids lives.

Why I would make the perfect au pair

I would make the perfect au pair because of my age and experience. As stated previously I am 29 and therefore a lot more responsible than a younger person would be. I just moved back from New York USA where I looked after 4 kids ages 11 - 18. The youngest has ADHD and I helped him get organized and find ways to make his schoolwork easier. I am very good at organizing and schedules and I am a good teacher, I believe I will be an asset to the family I work for in some way or another. I have a TESOL qualification, should you be a family from a foreign country who needs assistance in teaching kids English.

Hobbies and other interests

I love animals, my interest include volunteering at animal shelters and sanctuaries. I also volunteer at churches and other community projects. Traveling is another interest of mine, I have been to Europe and America, I try to travel whenever possible, inside and outside of SA. MY hobbies are ; reading, writing, working out (at the gym or outside), golfing (I am not very good yet but practice makes perfect) and just doing fun things like museums or movies. I try to always stay busy and learn new things.

Monique was an awesome au pair for our family with two working parents and 4 kids living at home. In addition to ensuring the children were getting their homework done and were where they were supposed to be, Monique used her excellent organizational skills to organize virtually our entire house, including identifying clothes and items that could be donated. Monique did a great job on her home duties, including cooking, pet care, laundry and tidying the house. She has good judgment and is mature and responsible.
