We’re looking for a friendly tutor to help our son who is in Grade 5 with his schoolwork, covering key subjects such as English (1st language), Afrikaans (2nd language), Life Skills, Mathematics, Natural Sciences & Technology, and Social Sciences. The job involves: 1. Homework Help: Assisting with homework across all these subjects. 2. Project Assistance: Helping with any school projects, helping our son to plan, research, and execute his work effectively. 3. Exam Prep: Aiding our son in preparing for exams with study strategies and motivational support. The ideal candidate should be patient, good at explaining things, and flexible in adapting to our son’s learning style. Regular updates to parents on the student’s progress are also part of the role. If you’re passionate about working with children and making learning enjoyable, this position could be a perfect match.

The live-in arrangement includes clean and comfortable staff accommodation located on the property, ensuring privacy and convenience. The accommodation is well-appointed with its own bathroom and kitchen, allowing for a personal and self-sufficient living space.
Other information and special requirements
In addition to academic support, the candidate will be responsible for safely transporting our son to and from his after-school activities, ensuring punctuality and security. We also seek assistance in the kitchen, from preparing simple, healthy meals for our son to occasionally helping with family dinners. Holding a driver’s license and being adept in the kitchen are crucial qualifications for this role.
