the previous family I was working for had 2 daughters who required extra tutoring, after we had done homework, the girls would let me know what they were struggling with and I would print out example pages and notes to help them understand in a better way. when it was exam season I would personally write a practice exam for each subject as well as some study notes to help them pep for the exams.

Introduction to families
Dear Family My name is Cherise D and I am passionate about 2 things: 1. Children and 2. Food. I am actually a qualified chef but I love working with children. I am a very soft-spoken person but once I open up I am a jokester and love making people laugh and smile. I have a big heart and always put everyone else before myself, I enjoy making people happy and that makes me happy. I love cooking and trying new things and I also enjoy teaching children how to cook as I believe it is an important skill for everyone to know. there's so much love that comes from children and growing with them and being able to be a child again with them is such a special experience.
I feel like I make a great au pair because I am very trustworthy. I believe that is one of the most important things. firstly for a parent to trust you with their child is a big thing, something I don't feel should be taken lightly. I am someone who takes that very seriously and I will always makes sure your children are safe, well looked after and most importantly happy. secondly to have a child trust you is highly important, once a child trusts you, they automatically will feel safe with you and feel comfortable being around you and able to build a relationship with you and that's all that matters. for me its not just a job, its an opportunity to make a difference in a child life, whether it be teaching them to cook, helping them with homework or just being a friend they can always come to.
as I mentioned I love cooking, I enjoy making people smile through food. I love working with children as well. I love a clean space so when I need time to myself I actually enjoy cleaning up and reorganizing the cupboards and redecorating the house.

2 girls, I started when they were in grade 1 and 3
I would need to fetch the girls from school, go to the shops after school if anything was needed by the girls or for the house. once we got home I made sure, they had something to eat, sometimes we would have fun with it and make homemade pizzas or bake something, after that it was homework and extra tutoring if needed that day. once that was done, we would spend some time before I went home, sometimes we would watch a show, or we would play boardgames or I would take them to ride their bikes or play around the complex
