Description of tutoring experience

I have valuable tutoring experience both as an education assistant in a high school and during my au pair program. As an educational assistant, I worked with a psychometrist to assist concession students with learning barriers. Supported teachers in classroom management, recorded student behaviours to aid the lead teacher in addressing key issues to foster a positive learning environment. As an au pair, I guided children through their homework, helped them prepare for tests, and assisted with school projects, always adapting my approach to their age and learning style.

I had the privilege of being an au pair in the USA for a family of five, caring for children aged 3 months, 5, and 8 when I arrived. That experience, along with my background working at a high school and in an orphanage, has shaped me into a caring, responsible, and adaptable individual who thrives around children of different ages.

I believe I would make the perfect au pair because of my extensive experience with children in various settings. From caring for infants and toddlers to supporting school-aged children with their learning and routines, I've developed patience, empathy, and problem-solving skills. My psychology background allows me to understand and adapt to each child's unique personality and learning style.
