Over the past several years, I have built a solid foundation in childcare and education:
Early Childhood Care & Teaching: I taught at preschools including Baby Bop (2 years), Dummies and Diapers (ages 2–3), and Jongspan (Grade R). I have also cared for newborns.
Primary School Teaching: I taught Grade 3 and Grade 4 at Danie Theron Primary School.
Au Pair Experience: I au paired for two girls in Carletonville for about a year, managing school runs, homework help, playtime, and after-school care.
Homeschool Teaching: For the past 8 years, I have taught Grades 10–12 in a homeschool environment, which has strengthened my ability to assist children academically at all levels.
Qualifications: I hold an Early Childhood Development qualification (N6 level), a valid Reader-and-Scribe Certificate, and I have completed First Aid training (willing to renew my certificate).
I offer more than just supervision—I provide a structured, fun, and safe environment where children feel loved and supported. My duties can include:
Picking up and dropping off children from school and activities (live-in or driving, with compensation at standard per-kilometre rates). I do have a roadworthy car and Valid drivers licence
Assisting with homework and study support.
Engaging children through games, creative activities, and outdoor play.
Providing healthy snacks and after-school routines.
Running occasional errands and general shopping.
Caring for family pets, if needed.
While I am very willing to help with the children’s needs and errands, I kindly note that I am applying specifically as an au pair—my focus will be on your children’s well-being, not on housekeeping.
Families and children describe me as loving, patient, and dependable, and I take pride in being someone children feel comfortable with and parents can fully trust.
I would be truly excited to bring my skills, warmth, and experience to your family, whether in a live-in role or as a driving au pair. Thank you for considering my application, and I look forward to the possibility of meeting you.
Warm regards,
