"Dear Family" message

I am Andiswa N, 26 year old from Johannesburg. I am an experienced au pair and former teacher assistant. I’m currently an au pair in USA for 3 kids under the age 5 and I’ve been with the family for over a year till my term ends. I’m also an experienced assistant teacher for kids age 5 and 6 years old. I’m a founder of an NPO that mentors high school learners and the community at large.

Why I would make the perfect au pair

I would make the perfect au pair because I have learnt a lot over my years of my experience. I’m patient with kids and very understanding as they have different personalities and still learning. I have done different activities with my host kids, both indoors and outdoor, arts&craft, baking, dancing, singing, sports, books reading, going to the park and playing at the playground as well as planning fun activities and having play dates. I’m a very organised person, likes planning, clean up, good manners and professional but also playful with the kids. I get up to their level so they are comfortable around me.

Hobbies and other interests

I’m an indoor and outdoor person. I’ve learnt a few hobbies which include knitting, needle point stitching and I’m looking forward to try pottery and painting soon. I enjoy going to the market, trying out new food and explore new places. On my free time I do colouring as it calms me down and spend time with friends. I’ve done a few adventures too like hiking, skiing and certainly open to learning more, exploring and trying new things
