Why I would make the perfect au pair

What would make me the perfect au pair is that I’m patient, great planner and fun. Working with a 8 year old girl and 12 year old boy has provided a valuable skill and experience that could make me an ideal au pair. My familiarity with their different development stages, interests and challenges has helped me understand and connect with them more. I’m able to adapt to different age groups and their unique needs. Also managing the dynamics between a pre-teen boy and younger girl has perfected my skills in conflict resolution, problem solving and communication. These skills have been essential for handling any disagreements/misunderstandings that may arise between siblings. I have a fun personality and try to come up with creative ideas to keep the children engaged and entertained. With the children’s schools being 17km apart from each other and both children having a demanding schedule. I have had to perfect my organisational skills to ensure that both the children’s schedules were smoothly executed and met.
