Introduction to families
Hello, I'm Khanyi! Growing up in a warm and nurturing family has instilled in me a deep appreciation for the vital role such an environment plays in a child's development. Recognizing the importance of providing a supportive and loving atmosphere, I am passionate about cultivating spaces where children can thrive.
I believe my journey in clinical psychology has equipped me with valuable insights into child development, fostering my deep appreciation for the unique needs and joys of childhood. Through my academic pursuits, I have developed a genuine passion for working with children, finding immense satisfaction in creating spaces where they feel heard and supported. My experiences have taught me the importance of patience, adaptability, and open communication. These qualities are simply tools I use to build trusting relationships with both children and their families. I am genuinely excited about the prospect of becoming an au pair, as it aligns with my desire to contribute positively while continuing to learn and grow alongside the children in my care.
One of my greatest passions is music, and I've taken on the challenge of being self-taught in both piano and guitar. Currently, I am undertaking violin lessons. Outside of music, I find peace in the pages of books and escaping into different worlds. Additionally, I cherish quiet moments outdoors, appreciating the beauty of nature and the tranquility it offers. I am also very passionate about dogs as I have 5 of my own, their names are Hunter, Lola, Sky, Max and Stallie!
