Description of tutoring experience

I've worked at a Primary school, tutoring and helping children in the afternoons at Aftercare with their homework. I have also done private tutoring for children aged 6-15 years old and homeschooling an 8-year-old child. I have also worked in a Montessori pre-school, working and looking after children from toddlers to 6 years old. During this time I worked with various children that had different learning/ social and emotional difficulties, such as ADHD, autism, sensory processing disorders and communication difficulties. I have years of experience with children, from in the classroom, to years of coaching sports, and aupairing.

I believe that I would make the perfect au pair because I have several years of hand-on experience with children across a wide range of ages and settings, from babysitting, tutoring, to classroom support and teaching in structured learning environments. I also hold a National Diploma in Early Childhood Development, with a Montessori specialization. I am also currently studying a Bachelors in Foundation Phase teaching degree. These qualifications, combined with my real-world experience have given me a strong foundation in both child development and understanding children.
