Introduction to families
"Dear Family" message
Dear Family, it's a pleasure to meet you! I'm a dedicated young woman with a deep love for children. My journey with kids began in 2019 while I was pursuing my Dance Teacher Certification, and my passion for their education and growth has only grown since then. There's a unique joy in working with children; they constantly surprise me with new lessons.
Why I would make the perfect au pair
I'm an optimistic, fun-loving individual with a deep passion for children's education. My experiences in this field have been nothing but fulfilling. As a patient and diligent worker, I care profoundly for the well-being of the children I work with. I hold a firm belief that treating children with respect—as we expect to be treated—lays the groundwork for them to grow into well-rounded adults. Teaching through play is something I cherish; it's remarkable how children can learn so effortlessly when they're having fun. However, this doesn't mean we forego structure—rules and schedules are vital for children's development. I emphasize good moral values and lead by example. My approach to teaching is flexible; I'm willing to adapt my methods to suit each child's unique learning style, recognizing that no two children are alike. For a comprehensive view of my childcare experience, please contact me to request my CV.
Hobbies and other interests
Dancing has been my dream, and for the past seven years, I've pursued it passionately, earning my Junior Teacher Certification along the way. Photography is another joy of mine, especially capturing the beauty of nature and landscapes with my professional camera. Reading and writing have always been part of my life; I devour books and occasionally pen poems for fun. Sewing is a skill I cherish too, having crafted my matric farewell dress and numerous dance costumes, always paying attention to the intricate details required.

1 and a half-year-old girl, 6-year-old girl, 9-year-old boy.
Job description
As a live-in au pair on a farm near Reitz, my duties began at 8 am, caring for the baby girl, and at 1 pm, I picked up the older children from school. My morning tasks included making bottles, preparing food, engaging in stimulating activities with the baby, doing her laundry, and cleaning her room and other areas. After school, the older children and I would prepare lunch together, followed by their homework and other engaging activities, concluding our day at 5 pm. I also transported them to their outdoor activities during the week and ensured their rooms were kept neat and tidy. My role extended to attending family functions with the children, babysitting during some evenings and weekends, and taking charge of the children's care during school holidays, organizing educational and enjoyable activities. Additionally, I managed grocery shopping and other household errands as needed by the family.
