Description of tutoring experience I have recently started a program in tutoring Grade 2 - Grade 7 at the Soweto Canoe and Recreation Club learning center in Soweto Powerpark for 4 hours on Saturday. I am voluntarily helping kids who struggle with writting, reading, speeches and have low self esteem. There're 36 kids in this program and still growing.

Dear Family, I am already very excited about getting to know you. But, first of all, I would like to introduce myself to you. My name is Mashudu M but you can call me Lindah, I live in Bryanston. I live with my fiance Patrick Mabogo (48), we have three gorgeous kids together Khuthadzo (24), Brian (14) and Given (9), all living with us. Khuthadzo is currently studying diploma in marketing, Brian is in Grade 8 and Given in Grade 4. Overall, we are a small family. I would describe myself as a reliable and caring person, who tries to make the best out of every situation. I like spending time with my friends; they are – as well as my family – very important to me. Always trying to help, I’m always there for them if they need me. In my free time, I like to listen to music, sing and dance, go shopping, do picnics, read good books, bake and cook. Since I had my own kids I have grown so much love for the kids, kids are so innocent and always find a way to cheer a broken soul. In the past 2 years I was working in a pre-school in Limpopo before I moved to Johannesburg. I hope we can develop a good relationship, working and living together as a family. I would be very happy to experience an eventful year with you and your kids. I am looking forward to talking to you. To whome it may concern. Ms Lindah M, ID no (781224 1103 085) also known as Mashudu has provided outstanding services as an Au Pair to our children from 01 February 2022 until 30 June 2023 on a full time basis. Her services were terminated because the kids has to be at school fir longer hours. She was almost always punctual and in the rare instances where she was late, she notified us timely even if she's late only for a few minutes. She worked overtime almost daily as she did not keep track of time due to her being so focused on ensuring our children’s’ needs are being met. Lindah was rarely absent from work whether due to sick leave, family responsibility leave or any other reason. Lindah and our Domestic worker worked well together, even assisting each other with tasks outside of their respective job descriptions. Lindah was flexible in her working arrangements by worked overtime and on weekends as required, which made our lives a lot easier. She enriched their development from the age of 3 to age 9through reading, play, song, music, arts and crafts. Our 3 year old is now able to identify and read sight words. Our kids also learnt basic addition from Lindah. She taught them idioms and songs. She taught them some Zulu, Pedi and Venda too. She has taught them impeccable manners. Lindah, enquired about our traditions, rituals, religion and practices, which she out of her own accord incorporated in her teachings to the children. Lindah’s nurturing ways and endless patience made her ideal for the task before her. She is able to multitask and look after numerous children. Linda is really passionate about children. She does not need any supervision and takes it upon herself to create a stimulating lesson for kids. She drove our kids to swimming lessons twice weekly and cooked for the family as requested. We, including our children love her dearly and are sad to part ways. Our kids always ask when will Linda come visit as they long for her company. We trust her with our children. We highly recommend her services as Au Pair or similar occupation.
